My own family has to sell me false hope just to hide the fact that I’m worthless to them. It’s bad enough my own friends (or so-called friend) do that to me already… I just, I just don’t know what to think some times. I feel like a bottled-up bottle of emotions with having to keep my true intentions to myself. At least one person I can say this to, and that person isn’t even blood. At least she knows how to raise my ego in the world and understands me.

okay so i finally finished this comic for my design class! i might eventually print it in small booklets or make multiple episodes/issues if enough interest is expressed. if you reblog this and you would be interested in purchasing/reading issues of this or comics like this, please say so so that i can gauge whether or not this is something i should pursue! <3

Hi, my name is Jonathan Harris. I’ve been playing guitar for a good, long time (and still improving what I’m doing) and tired of sitting at home not living up to my full potential. So I’m wanting to join a band (preferably a solid band that’s touring or wants to tour).

Here is more about me:

- I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 but really got serious with it when I was about 17 and recently deiced to get really deep into music theory, etc. I can also play bass as well.
- My playing styles is various; I play whatever comes to me and don’t really like the idea of sticking to one genre. I’ve just recently got the hang of doing sweeps, but every other technique I can do.
- I prefer playing post-hardcore/hardcore/melodic/post-rock genres but can mix around to whatever. As long as I can learn it from start to end I’m okay with whatever. I just want to play shows and perform, that’s all.
- I’m also okay with relocating if I need to; I’m not really found with the city I’m living in — which is Jacksonville, FL — and what this scene has to offer here for me.
- I do ALSO know a thing or two about booking tours and would not mind doing all of it myself.
- All and all I just want to expand and just push myself to be the creative mind/performer that I was born to be. I’ve tried starting projects and then it became more talk/ego boosting than action, and I need action for satisfaction. I want to grow and inspire people, inspire myself that I could do wonderful things for both me and this world.
